Setelah 3 minggu menggunakannya, I guess its about time for me to make a review. To jot down what is the pros and the cons about this BP.
Pros:
1 - Fuction ala-ala HP. Why I said that, because:
(a) The BP comes with display screen, yang berperanan menunjukkan masa pengepaman. So, secara tak langsung kita dapat tahu berapa lama masa kita ngepam. Unlike Ameda, I have to keep on looking at the clock to make sure, cukup ke belum masa 15 minit sesi pengepaman.
(b) The display screen illuminate so that memalam kalo bangun ngepam kita bole tengok screen dia tanpa perlu memasang lampu. At first, waktu tengok brochure ku notice display screen tu color blue, but then mine color putih, so memang terang la kalo dlm gelap tuh.
(c) This BP operate by using a battery, and there’s a battery bar on its display screen and after like 3 days of usage barulah the battery bar signal blinks, meaning its about time to recharge. Dan demi untuk menjaga battery supaya long last, jangan la sesuka hati untuk merecharge ye..
2 – Perkara yang tak dapat disangkal lagi adalah 2-phase expression made by Medela. Sangatla helpful untuk mendapat let-down and since its automated, lagila membantu. Ameda pun ala-ala ada this 2 phase expression but you have to set it up manually, kena pandai main-main ngan cycle knob dia to get quick and low suction cycle suction. And by using this FS, aku rasa production ada sedikit increase la. Tak tahula if aku ni jakun sangat ngan this new gadget so each and every time asik nak pumpin je even though tek tu kempis.. hehhehe..
3 – Breastshield made as simple as it can be. Serious, tak de small valve yang might be lost in the sink drainer or membrane yang possibility untuk koyak or whatsoever. Aku kan suka mende yang simple, and rasa memang best sebab senang pasang senang juga dibasuh.
4 – Y tubing. Pun satu ciptaan yang best sebab tak de la berselirat mcm guna Spectra and Ameda tempoh hari. But memula tu kekok jugak. Hampir pernah susu hampir tertumpah (nasib tak tumpah, stok dah la tak mewah mana).yelah, kan dah biasa satu breastshield satu tube so bile dah berkongsi tube ni kena la berhati-hati. But now, dah get use dah.
Cons:
1 – FS comes with tote bag, while I prefer backpack. Memula guna je backpack Ameda tu but since dah diletgo, so have to find new backpack. Ingat nak beli Baby Bjorn, harga rm250 di Ebay but unfortunately color yang kita berkenan tu out of stock. Then, time jalan-jalan kat Metro Kajang, terserempak la ngan Factory Outlet ni dan terberkenan la ngan satu backpack ni, terus rembat. Harga pun murah below RM100. So, now, its become my FS Backpack.
2 – Unlike Ameda, screwcap breastshield for bottles suit for certain type of bottles sahaja. Meaning tak suit bottle yang gegelangnye hanya 2 which most of the BPA bottle gegelang hanya ada 2. so, to overcome this problem, what I did is bought an Avent Bottle Converter. Memandangkan aku memang suka ngan botol Avent and my EBMs are stored in Avent Via, so mende yang kubeli ni sangat la membantu nyer. Sekarang pam dengan menggunakan Avent converter yang suit ngan Via container. Lepas pam terus seal terus bole masuk freezer. Tak perlu salin-salin bottle lagi.
3 – Softfit tak sedap langsung. Lain orang lain rasanyer but bagi aku memang tak sedap. Again to overcome this ketaksedapan, what I did is bought Personal Fit size normal (24mm) and put Ameda Flexishield on it and barula rasa sedap and selesa bile ngepam. Entahlah, maybe dah use with using breast massager from Avent Isis to Spectra 3 to Ameda.
4 – Dan masalah yang paling besar ngan FS adalah.. drumroll please.. Bunyinya sangat la LOUD! {ada yg cakap cm kodok mnegawan.. walaupon}. Dulu when pumping using S3 I used to pump in the storeroom. The bile beli Ameda, still pumping in the store until I bought Pumpin Pal. Bile dah ada Pumpin Pal, rasa tak perlu menyorok lagi bile tiba sesi mengepam, so I just pumped in my cubicle sambil doing my own work like typing, browse net, berforum dll. Tak de sapa pernah tanya tentang bunyi Ameda walaupon dulu ku rasa bunyi dia kuat (sebab lebih kuat dr S3). Colleague even male pun bole selamba je masuk cubicle asking about works or whatsoever while I pumped. [To note: Ameda bunyi macam printing using laser jet printer. Member sebelah cubicle penah tanya ‘Amende yang ko print tak abis-abis?’]. But now, using FS, mak ooiii.. semua tertanya-tanya bunyi apa tuh? Well, yang ni aku tak tau camne la nak overcome this prob.. hehehehhe…

Ameda best, FS pun best..
Masing-masing ada kelebihan dengan cara tersendiri..
