Lab coat

Antara requirement kerja di makmal adalah mempunyai lab coat. My previous one (the one that I been using from Matriculation till working) has gone to God knows where it be.

Since I'm coming back to work in the lab (yeay!), I need to have my own lab coat.
Luckily I'm still on my chemo treatment in PPUM (blessing in disguise) - peluang diambil untuk beli lab coat di Kedai PekanBuku UM.



So, how do I look? More like a Microbiologist, rite? Or like a Doctor perhaps? ekekekek...

I'm officially OFF

from BPK.. heheheh..

Today is my last day working here. Next week, I'm no longer working in Wilayah Persekutuan - I'm switching to work in Selangor (cuti banyak sikit compare to Wilayah.. ekekke..)

For those yang bertanya:
Fibi - No, aku tak resign (how I wish tapi sape plak nak bayo installment kete nanti..). I'm still serving the public cuma tukar tempat kerja sahaja.
Aishah - Ekekek.. Thanks for the wish, but I'm not getting any promotion. Pindah kerja dengan gaji dan gred yang sama :-)

3 tahun berkhidmat di sini.. Wah, sungguh ku terkagum dengan diri sendiri. Tempat kerja paling lama - self-record. Cayalah, An! ekekek

Antara yang paling menarik kerja di sini (which some of them I'm going to terribly miss):

• sebab kerja di sini, aku dah sampai jelajah semua negeri di Malaysia: dari Perlis sampai ke Sabah
• perkara yang sangat berbeza dengan kerja makmal yang dibuat oleh seorang microbiologist
• tempat kerja 10 minit dari rumah dan 15 minit jalan kaki ke Alamanda (oh, I'm going to miss this a lot)
• boleh pergi swim during lunchour (let see, tempat kerja baru bole implement ni ke tak)
• internet connection yang powerful laju - walaupun kebanyakan web adalah capaian disekat.
  

Yang lain-lain, I am so happy to make a move.. ekekekke...

Bertugas Parlimen

I received letter from the BKP - regarding jadual pegawai bertugas Parlimen.

Bertugas Parlimen adalah wajib bagi pegawai P&P, dan biasanya setiap kementerian akan hantar 2 orang. For me, its an oppurtunity to be given the chances to bertugas Parlimen - bukan semua orang dapat ke sana untuk menyaksikan live debate. However, boring memang boring - tak nafi. Cuma look at the bright side: tak payah gi ofis, lepak-lepak je kat sana.. huhuhuh.

And I was excited to see my partner name - cause I know this person personally.. hehehhe..



We went for our Induksi together and she secretly being one of my cyber friends (dah tak secret dah now, rahsia itu sudah bocor).. ekekekek..

Cuma tak pastilah samada aku masih berkhidmat di sini atau telah bertukar di sana on that particular date.
Kalau saya dah tukar, nanti saya call Dr ye. :-)

My new stuffs

Yeay, received parcel.
Alhamdullillah, sempat sampai while I'm still here.

Guess what in the packaging?


Its cloth pads and cloth pantyliners.

All this while I've been using cloth diaper for Zahra and yet for myself, I'm still using disposable menstrual pad - rasa sungguh tak aci! Kata nak enviro-savvy, should go all out la kan *slap-forehead*..

Actually dah lama berkira-kira nak pakai CP, but my period was not regular due to BF and suddenly I became pregnant plak (cerita tahun 2008 ni). But now, since I off for having any LO dalam masa terdekat ini and my menses pun dah back to 28-days normal flow every month, and somemore Limo pun dah start using CP - thus, I think it's about the right time to start balik apa yang tertangguh tempoh hari - that is using CP and CPL.

Semua ni beli murah-murah je kat eBay. Consist of: 4 heavy flow CPs + 8 normal flow CPs + 32 CPLs = lebih kurang RM400 sahaja.
Plain white color, tak de corak-corak - kalo kotor senang nak detect. Hahahaha...

So ladies, apa lagi, jom la, switch to CLOTH PAD!

Zahra sakit mata

Sian dia. Jangkit kat taska kot.
Dah bawa jumpa Dr, confirmed conjunctivitis - and infection cause by bacteria not virus - sebab temperature quite high.

Tapi Zahra still being Zahra : nampak sangat sangat sihat dan normal except that her eyes watery and produce lots of discharge.


Luckily Umi pun tengah MC, jadi kita orang apa lagi, lepak-lepak kat rumah layan Barney la.. hehehehe...
And, since Zahra on treatment, penggunaan cloth diaper dihentikan buat sementara waktu - ubat memberi effect pada urine and stool lantas turut meninggalkan kesan hitam pada cd.

Dental care

Zahra’s teeth are almost complete. And since she consumes FM, she likes to sort of like bergayut dengan botolnya itu. At 4am every night, dia mesti terjaga nak susu. Pernah weol just letak air masak jer, but she knows and refused to drink yet demanded for milk.

I was so concerned about Zahra will having tooth decay sooner or later. We did try to teach her how to brush her teeth but seems dia lebih banyak menghisap berus (favor the paste, I guess) dari menggosok. So, finally we decided to buy electric tooth brush. Even dia hisap-hisap pun, since the motor running, secara tak langsung proses memberus tu ada jugak. Heheheh…

About life

Hidup ini tidak mudah, tidak juga susah.

Usah terlampau memikirkan apa kata orang atau apa orang nak kata pada kita.

Sombong?

I’ve been working in my current office like 2 years but merely know everybody. Not that I don’t care (yeah, I think I don’t care), but fact is more like I’m not that ‘peramah’. I do smile to people - some even said that I had the warmest smile ever but I don’t really like to chit chat. Malas nak sembang-sembang. I preferred to do work rather than sembang-sembang ngan orang. Nanti kalau sembang-sembang, kerja plak tak siap, and then you end up bawa kerja balik rumah.. Oh, tidak!

Dan seingat aku, dari belajar kat Uni lagi, I like to be lone ranger. Sekali lagi malas nak berkawan atau bergeng : antara reason paling atas – malas nak tunggu member yang kadang-kadang makan lambat, siap lambat dan seangkatan dengannya. Teringat masa jadi guru sementara at the same school with my father – ada pulak cikgu lain yang bertanya, ‘Anak cikgu tu macam pemalu ye. Tak campur sembang ngan kami pun.’ Oh, pemalu rupanya aku ini. Fact is aku tak nak bawak buku students balik rumah, so masa yang ada dimanfaatkan untuk menyemak. Ekekeke..

Ntah la. I think I should change my attitude. Should being warm than being cool. Walaubagaimanapun, masa kerja adalah masa kerja. Tak kuasala nak bersembang – kang kerja terbengkalai, aku juga yang padan muka.

Zahra's new Taska

This is her new Taska. Taska Al-Hadhari - heheheh, nama a bit horror but overall, quite ok - selang 5 buah rumah je ngan rumah kitaorang.

So far, I'm satisfied with this Taska. Cikgu ok, bole menerima Zahra yang pakai cloth diaper, and one thing I noticed, Zahra dah tak lagi hidung berair macam dulu. Maybe sebab taska ni not air-cond centralized like the previous.

Aksi Walid main golf

Semasa di kampung, Walid telah dikerah tenaga nya untuk 'bermain golf'.. Heheheh..
Bukan sebarang permainan, ni zero handicap.. Habis lengan berbintat digigit nyamuk..
Aksinya pula disupervise oleh my FIL.. Ekekeke..




Selesai 'bermain', malamnya Ummi pulak dikerah mengurut lengan sebab Walid kelenguhan.. Heheheh...

Trip to Kelantan

I went to Kelantan last week: 16-18 February 2009
Pergi sebab kerja. Dan pertama kalinya, I went for outstation alone - not accompany with my sis/SIL and Zahra. Zahra ditinggalkan bersama Walid sebab dia pun dah tak BF, so I dont see any point to drag her with me.

We had meeting on the first day:


A mini-seminar on the second day + steamboat for dinner:

Dinner was superb. Sedap betul makan kat The Horizon. I give 5 out of 5 stars.

And site visit on the last day:



And I felt sick on the last day. Pity me, but seems to be blessing in disguise as I managed to get MC on Thursday, jadi bole lepak-lepak kat rumah, golek-golek depan TV - qado balik rindu ngan Zahra.

Antara sebab kenapa aku jatuh cinta dengan BW.

Scent-sational

I'm not a collector. Fact is, I don't keep momentos: selalu rasa - this is all craps.. buat sampah ajer. But semalam masa kemas-kemas meja make-up, I can't help but to realize that I have more than 3 type of perfumes: six to be exact.

Nak katakan aku ni peminat perfume pun tak jugak - but I love to be in good smell: supaya orang sekeliling selesa ngan kita. Hehehe..

So korang kalau nak bagi hadiah kat aku jangan bagi perfume yer.. aku dah ada banyak.. cukup untuk stok wangi 3 tahun ni.. ekekek...

Zahra predilection

Antara BW, stroller dan berjalan, I noticed that Zahra preferred to be in her stroller. Yup, she loves the stroll very much.
Masalahnya: stroller tu gabak sangat. Payah nak mobile.

My lunch break activity

Ada memilih untuk makan (dah nama pun lunchour), ada memilih untuk bershopping di Alamanda, ada memilih untuk tidur dan ada memilih untuk membuat kerja/browse internet.

As for me, I chose to do some fat burning that is swimming.
Hehehehe.. Bukan apa, this is the only time that I have for myself, so better make full use of it.


I’ll go and swim at Pusat Kejiranan Persint 9 – sangat la dekat dengan rumah: jalan kaki pun sampai. Menariknya swimming pool di sini ada 3 kolam: for kids which is FOC, for women and for men. Kolam asing yang bagus tuh – tak de la aku nak berenang dengan yang bukan muhrim.. heheheh. Bayaran masuk adalah RM2.00, dan terdapat 3 sesi berenang – Sesi 1: 9-11pg; Sesi 2: 1-3ptg; Sesi 3: 5-7ptg.

Selalunya, time lunchour hari Isnin-Khamis there would be no other swimmer than me. Hari Jumaat will be ramai skit swimmer – maybe because masa lunch break yang lebih panjang.

Walid dengan curious pernah bertanya, ‘Tak panas ke berenang tengah matahari tegak?’. Well nak katakan tak panas tu tipulah, but bila dah dalam air tu rasa sejuk jer. And, matahari a bit terlindung dengan bangunan tepi yang tinggi, so I will be swimming at that point of area.



So guys, ada yang nak join tak?
Afterall, life is not merely about work. Get up ur bump and lets have some sweat!

Random Talk

Uztazah aku kat sekolah dulu pernah berpesan: Kalau kita marah dengan seseorang, cakap terus depan muka dia. Tak perlu tulis surat atau cakap belakang. Surat akan menjadi satu bukti yang akan disimpan sampai bila-bila manakala cakap belakang: kita adalah pengecut.
- Sampai sekarang aku ingat: Insya Allah, akan ingat sampai bila-bila.

I love reading other people blog. Suka membaca berkenaan pendapat dan pandangan orang. However, kebanyakan blog, aku noticed adalah seperti satu tempat luahan perasaan tidak puas hati terhadap orang lain. Rasa tidak menarik membaca blog yang mengata Si A atau Si B (walaupon hakikatnya kita tak kenal akan Si A atau Si B itu). Bagi pendapat aku, if you dont like A or B, avoid him/her la. Tak rasa cacatkah isi blog dengan menulis tentang orang yang kita tak suka dalam blog yang kita cipta? Yup, tak nafi - itu hak masing-masing but hak itu boleh diaccess dan dibaca oleh segenap manusia. Elok sangat ke tingkah laku kita sehingga nak jaja tentang keburukan orang lain?

Terapi Minda

By to-date, I’ll guess sesiapa sahaja yang baca blog ini tahu aku sakit. But not the kind of sakit yang terlantar sampai jadi kurus kering tu (how I wish: part yang kurus kering itu.. heheheh), cuma dalaman yang sakit and physically nya fit terlebih-lebih la pulak.

Dan dalam kesakitan ini (yang kerapkali mengubah mood ku menjadi harimau), tidaklah merubah hobby aku iaitu online shopping. Heheheh.. yang sakit adalah jasad, roh dan nafsu masih sihat walafiat.. :p

For me, online shopping is very convenient – tak perlu keluar rumah which you have to wear proper cloth with tudung, cari parking, pusing-pusing cari barang di mall, long queue for paying, and then end up beli barang yang sepatutnya tak dibeli. We have set what we want to buy, cari website yang menjualnya – survey as some of websites offer cheaper price than others, better package or free delivery. Of course you have to have a credit card or subscribe to your online banking services in order to shop via internet.
However, I found that, only certain barang je yang dijual online. Kan best kalau groceries like ikan and sayur can also be bought by a click.. – punya la malas ini orang.. heheheh..

And, what excite me more is when I received my parcel.. yeay.. Rasa macam satu kepuasan je bila barang yang kita beli sampai di muka pintu.

People said that shopping is one method for mind therapy. Erm, I couldn’t agree more..
:-) selagi poket aku tak sakit la.. ekekeke…

BW and Walid

I love babywearing. Although, got to know about BW a little bit late (Zahra @ 1y8mths) but still I found it convenient. And, I always wanted Walid to BW as well, even taught him how to use pouch and ringslings, but his remark:
pouch - sempit la (we have size issue over here), and
ringslings - macam pompuan la plak bila pakai ni (me: haah la)

So, when I bought the SSC, I never think that he would be interested to use it - that's explain why I chose pink (heheheh).. but surprisingly he like the Ergo. Siap bawak Zahra jalan-jalan ngan basikal lagi.. :-)

We arrived at 11.00am. The three of us were very excited. Seronok sebab last time when we went to the zoo we enjoyed very much.
The place has huge, no kidding. Penat giler berjalan, dengan hari yang sangat terik (we should be there after subuh.. heheh) - Oh, we don't bring the stroller, quite aware that the park is sort of stroller-unfriendly place, but we brought every single carrier that we have: pouch, ringslings, SSC minus the wrap. Zahra however, preferred to walk until later she becoming too exhausted, she doesnt want to walk, nor to be carried - she just want to stand still.. heheheh. And by that, we knew its already her nap time, and we left the park : just managed to spend an hour and half there.
Sampai rumah, masing-masing tidur macam ular. Ekekek..
