Aktiviti hujung minggu

Hari ni one of my ofismate get married.. so pergi kawin dia kat belakang Istana Negara.

After that, pergi The Summit. DH beli DvD ceta*rompa*, while Zahra and I went to the babyland - dulu, kini dan selama nya memang suker sangat masuk kedai barang baby. Aku hanya beli baju Zahra sehelai: romper Carter RM13.

Then, weol notice ada Popular BookFair kat Level4. So, head to level4, rembat la buku serba sedikit for 3 of us. Me, beli buku jahit aje.

1st pic: Zahra & her Hello Kitty book
2nd pic: My sewing book - bahasa cine tapi since ada sewing pattern and harga pun murah - RM25, so ku rembat ajer..

Itula story hujung minggu kami. Esok dah kerja. Semoga bertemu kembali di 'aktiviti hujung minggu' depan. Selamat malam. Hehehehe...

Our story - the beginning

Since our anniversary is just around the corner, suka aku nak tulis kisah chenta kami – sebagai kenangan bersama.. ewah…

I met him went I was doing my post-grad: jumpa masa wedding one of his friend (which I don’t even know who is the pengantin). My first impression towards him was ‘cute jugak Mamat ni’ but somehow bila cakap dengan dia I found out that he is so kerek, berlagak nak mati, macam bagus, eksen gle – tetiba aku jadi macam memaki dia di dalam hati.. hahahahahah.. However, dalam kerek-kerek dia pun we become friend. Kawan mengisi masa lapang as aku pada masa itu: life is so pathetic: 24yo, jobless, single, bergelumang dengan bacteria and journals. Cakap pun aku-ngko jer. It was like a secret friendship between the both of us – classmate dia (yang juga my post-grad buddies) tak tahu pun kitaorang bersahabat.

Lama jugak weol berkawan – like 8 months: going out for dinner, catch movies together – until one day, he has to go for outstation which I can’t call nor sms, and I started to miss someone (heheheh). He came back, we met, and later I received SMS from him – approaching me to become his special. Saat itu, weol start to become an item dengan masih mengekalkan panggilan aku-ngko.. thehehehe. Oh, btw, tarikh couple adalah 23September2004.
Kenangan masa berchenta.. :-)

We’ve planned to get married in the year 2005. However, kadang-kadang apa yang dirancang tak jadi: I’ve got job with the govt and have to move to Seri Manjung, he had big project which inquired him to stay on and off in Myanmar, his Father, all of a sudden, being hit with stroke which left the whole family in miserable state.

I was discontented and frustrated with the whole thing - I met his sister, which then telling me at that particular time, they cant afford to go to Ipoh (to melamar, merisik, or whatsoever).

Sad, sad, sad.....

To be continue… (bagi suspen skit)

Wishlist

Awal tahun hari tu dah buat dah satu, but since masuk pertengahan tahun biasanya orang buat mid-year review, so I'd like to make a new wishlist.. heheh..

Saya opt for Brother.

Ketiga: Untuk memudahkan saya menjahit, saya nak dress form.

*kelip-kelipkan mata*

Family first..

Sesuatu yang menarik.. diambil dari email:
***
Aku terlanggar seorang asing semasa berjalan,
"Oh maafkan saya, saya tak perasan"

Katanya "Maafkan saya juga,
Saya tak nampak saudara"

Kami amat bersopan dan saling menghormati,
Kami saling melambai sambil berlalu pergi,

Terdengar suara halus datang membisik,

"Bila bersama orang tak dikenali,
Begitu bersopan dan merendah diri,
Tetapi ahli keluarga tersayang, sering dimarah dan dicaci",

"Cubalah kau pergi lihat di lantai dapur,
Kan kau temui bunga-bungaan berterabur",

"Itu adalah bunga-bunga dibawanya untuk kamu,
Dia memetiknya sendiri, kuning, biru dan unggu",

"Dia berdiri senyap agar jadi kejutan buat kamu,

"Adik memetiknya kerana ia cantik seperti ibu,
ibu tentu suka terutama yang unggu,

"Maafkan ibu, atas sikap ibu hari ini,
Ibu tak harus menjerkah kamu, sebegini,

Katanya,"Oh, ibu, itu tak mengapa,
Saya tetap sayang ibu melebihi segala,

Bisikku, "Anakku, ibu pun sayang kamu,

Bukankah begitu?

Jadi apakah maksud yang tersirat?

Tahukah anda makna "FAMILY"?
FAMILY = (F)ATHER (A)ND (M)OTHER (I) (L)OVE (Y)OU

" HARGAILAH KELUARGA ANDA "

My Family: iLUVu

Bekerja cara aku

Sepuluh cara, working as my style:
  1. Ikut je cakap Bos as long as dia tak suruh somethings that against the law
  2. Bos nak membebel: dengar jer..
  3. Listen to instructions.. jangan banyak soal - sometimes, lagi banyak kita cakap, lagi bodoh kita kelihatan
  4. Tapi, kalo tak tahu, Tanya.. jangan nak memandai-mandai plak
  5. Elakkan politik tempat kerja: tapi kalo ada sapa mengadu, dengar aje (masuk telinga kiri, kuar telinga kanan).. jangan nak menambah-nambah pulak.. sat gi kita plak dikatakan batu api.. kalo tak nak dengar, buat-buat sibuk (atau ubah kedudukan PC anda).. hahahhaha
  6. Biar tak glamer, biar orang tak kenal.. as long as keje kita jalan..
  7. Once punchout, thats it - work is done for that day.. aku nak golek-golek ngan Zahra depan TV plak.. heheh
  8. Kerja, susah macamana pun.. just chill.. afterall, this is not my company.. buat apa nak pecah kepala tak tido malam pikir tentang masalah kerja.. ekekek
  9. APC, increment, promotion? .. aku tak amik pot..
  10. As long as 25th day each month dapat salary.. aku cukup-cukup la bersyukur.. Alhamdulillah
Heheheh... senarai macam bagus.. bluerg :-p...

p/s: ri ni gaji.. yeay.. Alhamdullillah... hehehe

Patah dua

Cermin mata Walid:

Tak sampai sebulan pakai.
Boleh teka sapa yang patahkan? Hehehehe..

Tu ar Walid, Umi ajak kuar tak nak. 'Panas la petang-petang ni', sekali kena wacha ngan Zahra. Sib baik Umi wawasan visi 2020.. ekekek

Cheaper substitute

Previously, I've made complaint yang MaMTeat cepat berkerak.

Since Zahra dah tak memilih puting, aku beli kan aje puting yang murah.. hehehe.. Afterall, after 2 weeks nak kena tukar jugak.

Jimat poket Umi :-)

Water theraphy

Aku sekarang sedang mempraktikkan water theraphy - gara-gara membaca mengenainya dari blog Wawa.

Baru seminggu praktis, tapi dah mula nampak serba sedikit hasilnya - yang paling ketara aku kini tidak lagi sembelit: poo dengan mudah sekali.. heheheh.. tapi yang tak bestnya: pee pun kerap jugak.. ekekekekke...

Pretty view

4 hari punya stok - sampai tak muat nak sidai baju lain..

Mummy dilemma

Erm, sedih sebenarnya Umi nak anto awak gi taska..
Argh, bila nak jadi sahm ni???

2 tahun, tapi tido macam baby.. heheh

Easy on Bang - Part III

Pressure.
Setiap malam, 2 ke 3 kali nak kena bangun – buat susu. Ada tu pernah susu disukat tak masuk botol – berterabur jatuh lantai – kes malas buka mata.. heheh.

Then, I discovered milk pour. Best giler mende ni. Kudos la sapa yang mencipta nya.

Pesanan tanpa tajaan: Susu ibu terbaik untuk anak anda – Praktikal.. malam-malam selak jer.. tak perlu menggagau bangun bancuh susu.

Cara memakai ringslings dengan betul

Sesuatu untuk dikongsi bersama.
Taken from: http://www.thebabywearer.com/articles/HowTo/CommonSlingProblems.htm

Common Sling Problems and Tips for Comfort

If you are finding your sling uncomfortable or tiring, it's worth checking that you have it fitted as well as it can be. Having an experienced sling user to help you in person is ideal. As a second best, below you will find some tips that might help.
All tips are relevant for slings.
Tips marked * are also relevant for pouches.

For all carries

Ring position
Most people find it comfortable to wear the rings quite high, on or just below the collarbone. (If you like them lower, that's fine too, but keep in mind that the 'pouch' where the baby sits will be smaller.)

For the sling on the right, this is a comfortable ring position. With some slings, the rings can be worn even higher.

Shoulder 1 *
The goal is to spread the weight evenly across the shoulder, whether you like the shoulder spread down onto your upper arm or not.

Shoulder 2 *
If the shoulder is padded (or you like your unpadded shoulder unfanned), centre it on your shoulder rather than letting it crowd your neck. This is even more crucial for hip carries, where your baby's weight will tend to pull the sling against your neck.

Back *
Spread the back of the sling as widely as possible. The more you spread it, the less strain you will feel. Spreading it as low as possible is the key - even a small amount can make a lot of difference to your comfort. If you pull your sling down at the back, in conjunction with moving it away from your neck, you should notice a definite improvement.
This sling can be spread very wide!

Height of baby *
Most people find they are most comfortable with the baby riding as high as possible.

For upright holds eg. Snuggle Hold, Hip Carry

Top rail *
The top rail (top edge of the sling) needs to be snug to stop the baby from leaning back, which can be unsafe and is tiring for you. Tighten it by pulling on the top edge of the tail.

Baby's leg position *
Once your baby is old enough to want her legs out of the sling, they should be wrapped around you (like straddling a horse), and not dangling down. It's safer, better for your baby's hip development, and more comfortable for you.
Note. In the photo on the right, the edges of the shoulder have been folded to the centre to allow a bit more arm movement. This can be useful with a "fan" style shoulder.

Baby's leg angle *
Baby's legs should be approximately parallel to the floor, with her bottom at the same level as (or lower than) the underside of her knees. This keeps her safely in the sling and reduces red marks. Pull the fabric (the bottom rail) down to her knees, make sure it isn't bunched up, and then tighten snugly. If there's lots of fabric, bunch it or tuck it behind her back, rather than under her legs.

  • If your sling is padded and you cannot get the baby high enough or snug enough then you need a smaller sling. You can also try removing some of the padding near the tail, allowing you to pull more fabric through the rings.
  • Likewise, if your pouch is unable to accommodate the appropriate position, it is not the right size for you. The only way to adjust a pouch further is with a sewing machine. So, if you find it tiring or uncomfortable, ask if you can exchange it.
  • Once you are comfortable wearing your sling or pouch, regular stretching can help you to stay comfortable. When carrying a baby, it's common to hunch your shoulders forward. Regularly stretch your upper back (gently backwards) and roll your shoulders. Try to be aware of your posture when you carry your baby and keep your back straight and bottom tucked in.
  • Changing position (you and your baby!) every so often will reduce fatigue and is especially important while you are first getting used to your sling. Physical therapists also advise swapping shoulders regularly, both for your sake and your baby's. The sooner you get used to using both shoulders, the more likely you are to find both sides comfortable.
  • Sometimes it's your back, rather than the sling (or the adjustment of the sling) that is the problem. If you still have pain after trying these tips, it could be worth seeing a chiropractor, osteopath or physical therapist.
